Create empty space | 27 March 2007 Only one controller came with the out-of-left-field Xbox 360, so we took turns (reluctantly accepting the controller from the other) beeping and booping through the screens. We unenthusiastically tried a few games and eventually discovered the one arcade game already on the system, Hexic, to which I very quickly became addicted for a fair portion of Saturday. This way and that I swivelled so many hexagons of varying colours that I dreamed about it that night, and since then on occasion I have actually thought in my head in terms of the game, as though I could make things disappear or create empty space in a corner if I could only find the correct groups of hexagons to rotate. Man, there is no way I am touching that game again until at least next Saturday. <—– Previous: Scrub & buff | Next: Bushes –—>
